What format are the photos in?
All of the Lynchburg Museum Systems' images are in JPG / JPEG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes, we add photos as they are processed. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Our photographs have been donated by individuals or families to the Lynchburg Museum System. If you have images related to the greater Lynchburg area and would be willing to share, please contact the museum at museum@lynchburgva.org or call (434) 455-6226. We do not buy photographs and cannot place other people's images on our website.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we cannot offer a refund. Due to the digital format of this collection, it would be easy for one to purchase an image, record it, and then ask for a refund as a way of securing the image for free. If for some reason you are unhappy with the quality of your purchase, please use the "Contact Us" link and we will discuss any options available.
Are there any restrictions on the use of these images?
Yes. We do not allow the redistribution of our photos or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed or for commercial endeavours. If you are interested in using any of our images for commercial purposes, please use the "contact us" link to initiate that conversation as these are handled on a case by case basis. |
