First Fridays Free!
The Lynchburg Museum in the Old Court House is now open for First Fridays with free admission from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the first Friday of each month. The Art Trolley will drop you off and pick you up at our front door at 901 Court Street as it makes its way between the art galleries, studios, and other places of interest in Downtown Lynchburg. There will be a featured topic for each First Friday and a staff member will be on hand to show artifacts that are not usually on exhibit and talk with visitors. (434) 455-6226 or 847-1867 FREE!
March 5: First Friday - Aviation in Central Virginia with Greg Krueger
March 6: Old Dominion Songsters: Traditional Blues in Virginia - Exhibit Opening & Concert
Virginia birthed a variety of blues music and musicians - join us at the Museum from 3 pm to 5 pm to hear more and to view the exhibit on loan from the Library of Virginia. Performance by Sheryl Warner and the Southside Homewreckers of Richmond. Free!!!

Point of Honor is free to visitors from 10 am - 5 pm and the Museum is free from 10 am - 4 pm. Point of Honor will feature lectures at 11 am with Nancy Rice on “Daffodils and Table Settings” and at 2 pm with James Henderson on “Landscaping Edibles” Tea and light refreshments served.
May 6: Homeschooler's Day
Homeschoolers are invited to tour the Museum and Point of Honor from 10 am - 4 pm and learn about our varied educational opportunities. Free to Homeschoolers...

June 21-25: Discover Lynchburg Summer Camp for Kids
Children ages 9-12 enjoy a week long day camp from 9 am -- 3 pm daily Visits to historic sites, police department, fire station, City Hall, and picnic on Percival’s Island $50 per child. Reserve your spot early!!!

Explorers age 13 and up enjoy a week-long camp from 9 am to 3 pm daily. Learn the rich history of Lynchburg and about our City today. $50 per person - reserve early.

Curator Greg Krueger will show you how to preserve family treasures-photographs, textiles, silver, and more in this hour- long program at 4 pm at the Museum. Free!!!
