March First Friday: Antique Toys

As part of “First Friday,” the Lynchburg Museum at 901 Court Street will have extended hours on Friday, March 2nd from 5p.m. until 8p.m. This month, the Museum will display pieces from its collection of antique toys. Admission to the Museum is FREE.

Including an 1886 Guggenheimer's Department Store toy catalog a variety of late nineteenth century and early twentieth century toys will be on exhibit. Also on display will be a turn of the twentieth century rocking horse, metal toy trucks, a 1932 Classroom Printer stamp set, and a pair of “moon shoes.”
